Hind (y) is a Canadian born Lebanese dancer, choreographer and instructor. She has been a respected artist from the beginning of her career & known for her richness and depth of expression to the ancient art form we call belly dancing.

Hind’s initial inspiration was by the legendary Badawia of Jordan, she then discovered the great Raqia Hassan of Egypt who became her mentor instantly. She gives great credit to her authenticity & the roots of her dancing to the legends & renowned Egyptian & Lebanese masters.

Hind was delighted to be asked to judge the belly dance festival in Houston Texas 2013. She has also proudly conducted workshops internationally reapeatedly but has left her heart in Singapore! Following one of her Singapore engaements she had the opurtunity to Join her Egyptian master instructors in Shanghai for a fun full week of ongoing workshops with her Singapore students.

Along with her Authentic style of teaching, Hind has directed & coordinated belly dancers at high profile concerts for artists such as Najwa Karam, Wael Jassar, Fares Karam  & many more of Lebanon.

Her workshops have been credited as energizing & well thought out choreographies; equal to the Egyptian masters she has proudly studied under in the past. Her classes are delivered in a fresh, friendly manner to all participants whatever their ability and have earned her the name:

These days Hind spends most of her time conducting dance workshops.
